This week was definitely one of those up and down weeks on the mission. So:
Downs: Dropped by 4-5 investigators (including 2 baptisimal dates, and 2 really progressing investigators) this week for various reasons of lack of interest, lack of time, wanting to read the Book of Mormon on their own, and etc. so that was pretty disappointing especially because that pretty much whipped out all the people Elder Dearden and I found during our 3 months here. So yeah that dropped the spirits a bit low.
Ups: Found a young single mother Michelle (2 and 3 yr old sons) that took the Book of Mormon on the spot and scheduled an appointment for 2 days later (that went through!) She is a christian lady that doesn't go to a church because she hasn't found one that fits her and the boys yet but knows its good for her to join a church. So we taught her the restoration and will be going back this week and she said she might come to church for Easter this week. #2 we've been working heavily with the Branch President (bishop) of the branch here about trying to increase member involvement in missionary work. So we are going to do an activity where ward members fast for miracles in the missionary work and use the miracles from that to pump people up and then introduce Emmen's first ward/branch mission plan! still working everything out with the plan, but stage one is planned and everything is going to start the week after General Conference.
Yes Ron is still golden. Esther has sat in for parts of our last 2 appointments, which is great. We will just leave her to do what she wants, but I think that after Ron's baptism her heart will be even more open to maybe hearing it. Other than that we are kinda back to square one with our teaching pool (still have like 4-5 but all very new and not really steady as of now) so we just got to hit the doors hard this week. we will also be looking up lots of referrals from a Easter Facebook campaign so hopefully we will have success with those as well!
Love you all!
