So I don't have a ton this week so ill start with questions from you mom: There is no senior companion is the mission. which is good because that's just kinda dumb and not needed in my opinion. So glad we don't have them! District leaders live in Zwolle (1 hour train ride away) and the other elders in the district live in Assen (45 mins away). Zone leaders live in Apeldoorn (2.5 hours away) So those city names probably mean nothing to you but there you go. haha :) We have zone conference this week, only have to travel to Zwolle for it but later in the transfer we have a bigger conference where we go to the temple and to Keukenhof, which is the largest tulip garden in the Netherlands! Last year there weren't many that were gown yet, but this winter has been very mild and they are doing the conference a couple weeks later, so we should have a great garden to see! Yeah I have a pretty good relationship with President, don't have that much contact really, just at conferences really; and yes Elder Hirsch (Talyon's Trainer) is still the AP.
So quick week overview: Monday and Tuesday were goodbyes for Elder Dearden. Sad to see him go, I really loved him and serving with him. Wednesday I got Elder Jardine and did a little work. Friday we had dinner with Ron and Esther. Ron threw down about how well the Book of Mormon works with the Bible, but that's just normal for him now! So sweet! Saturday went to a baptism in Groningen for one of Elder Jardine's investigators, really cool to see and got to see Elder Hirsch there as well.
So more highlights: this week we had 3 lessons (lowest since my 2-3 week here) but finally something clicked and we were able to get back in contact with lots of our investigators or potentials and we now have 8 lessons planned this week which will be great to get us back on track! And me and Elder Jardine are going hard through Preach my Gospel and trying to apply that better in our work, so i re-read it in 3 days and we are going to try to improve a couple things every week. Looking forward for this week!
