So I'll start with a funny thing about Belgium: they have vending machines for everything! You can pick up your morning loaf of bread at one, walk to the next street and pick up strawberries for the french toast, and end by getting potatoes for hash-browns for a side at the next one! It's crazy!! I'm now going to make it my goal to take a picture in front of every different kind. haha!
So I got to go on exchanges with Elder Hirsch last week! (my first companion) which was great, we got to teach a few lessons which were all amazing and will lead to baptisms here soon! and Elder Howard and Elder Harrop set a date with one of our investigators on that exchange too, so that was great!
Random thing the mission office address address is changing ill forward you the message.**
We get to go to the temple on Wednesday! It's our temple conference with half of the mission. We will do a session (in Dutch)! Then we have a conference later in Den Haag. I'm really excited to see how it goes in dutch. haha
So progress with our investigators are slow but as Alma said:
6 Now ye may suppose that this is foolishness in me; but behold I say unto you, that by small and simple things are great things brought to pass; and small means in many instances doth confound the wise.
7 And the Lord God doth work by means to bring about his great and eternal purposes; and by very small means the Lord doth confound the wise and bringeth about the salvation of many souls.
So it many be small, but i know by the small things, we help them. With every lesson theres something great. Baptism will come to pass and lead to their eternal happiness and salvation, so its a great blessing to be here with them!
