Hello from the best city in the Netherlands :)
I know its only been 4 days but I'm really loving it here! It's a huge blessing for me! By the end of my time in Hilversum I was kind of dying inside, but this has definitely been the blessing on the other side of the tunnel. We have tons of Less active members to look up and visit, including Brother Den Haring, he is a 70 year old guy that they have been working with and he just got his temple recommend on Sunday so he can go to the temple next week. There are a few others that we work with too. There aren't really a ton of investigators right now because everyone is on vacation. And when I mean vacation I don't mean an American vacation (like a long weekend or a week) but people here go to Spain or Greece for 1-2 months. It has a ton to do with their tax code here, they pay 60% in taxes and a portion of that gets returned as a travel steepen and if they don't use the money it goes back to the government. So basically the government forces them to go on vacation to lower stress levels. But anyway, that means next week is a ton of finding, but in Den Haag that's not too bad from what I've seen. zpeople are generally more open here.
Well that's small, but i really don't know what else to say because its all new here. Actually one more thing! This is more for you mom but remember how I was always the messy room kid? Well your son has now been cleaning up a ton! I just made a decision to be more clean before the start of the transfer so I'm slowly going from one job to the next to spread out the work. For example: one morning I vacuumed then at night I cleaned the inside of the refrigerator. now I'm busy scrubbing the floors with a sponge. Kids finally do grow up ;)
Thats about all I got for now, but remember I love you guys!
Tot Ziens!
