No the title isn't Dutch, it is my reenactment of Pentecostals speaking in "Tongues." This week we got invited to see a Pentecostal church service with a couple guys that we met, so we cut them a deal that if we go to their service, they will come to ours. I will give it to them, they have good music played by their live band but we spent about an hour repeating the same three songs about 20 times. The service was filled with tons of Hallelujahs, Praise Jesus, and Amens. Then at the end they did a call to conversion and a couple people went up and the priest gave them blessings in tongues. Overall, very interesting to experience, If you've never seen one it would be a great bucket list item. haha
The big news of the week is that transfer calls went out on Saturday! I got an awesome curve ball and will be getting Elder Dearden back!! He was my companion in Emmen about a year ago. He was my favorite companion, so I'm looking forward to round 2! He arrives Wednesday. I'll send Elder Thornock to Zwolle. He was a good comp, but we were very different so we didn't really get close during our time.
Not much happened this week on the investigators front. We met with a couple, but were disappointed as none of them came to church, so we aren't really sure what to do with them now. They are great when we are with them but not much happens... I am excited though because I know Elder Dearden is a great/hard worker so we will be able to get things going this transfer!
