The last few days since Elder Dearden got here have been some of the best days ever. We seemed to be teaching left and right. In the 4 days after we shared about 7-8 lessons, and that is given that me and Elder Thornock didn't ever have more than 5. It's been awesome because we have just been reminiscing of Emmen and sharing the restoration with people. There has definitely been a very strong spirit with us the last couple days.
I can't remember if I shared this with you but a couple weeks ago me and another Elder knocked some streets and didn't really get any potentials from it but then out of nowhere we received a referral from the street we knocked! We were pretty surprised and went to look the guy up right after Elder Dearden arrived. We came and found out that we talked to his mom and she told him about it and he was way interested so he requested a book of Mormon online. We've now had a couple lessons with him and he is pretty solid. He told us last time he was so excited for us to come back that he wasn't able to sleep. sick. To make it even sweeter he is a Ex-Jehovah Witness. haha! It brought us back to the Emmen days when our first investigator was also an ex-Jehovah Witness (Ron) Funny, how things like that happen. haha!
I don't want to go too much deeper into the other investigators till we know if the pan out or not, but just know that the gospel is true. I love the warmth I feel every time that we get to share the restoration with someone. And Elder Dearden is sick, definitely my favorite companion
