Quick update on the week...Talyon did receive his visa and was able to go directly onto the Netherlands this week. In the end 13 out of the 15 missionaries in his MTC obtained their Visas in time and were able to go directly to their mission. Talyon flew out on Monday and we were able to speak to him while at the airport. He sounded great and excited to go. We are so excited for him!!! His Mission President and wife just got there last week and I am sure are busy and I'm guessing quite overwhelm with getting up to speed on the mission and all its responsibilities. We received this quick email from President Bunnell that we thought we'd include this week since we won't be getting an email from Talyon until his next P-day (short for Preparation Day).
Dear Parents of Elder Perry,
Elder Perry, is safe and has arrived here in the Belgium/Netherlands Mission. What a delight it was to see him as he arrived at the airport with a big smile on his face!
He is eager to serve and so prepared. Thanks for helping him in his process, arriving with great desires to love and serve the Lord.
He is serving in Heerlen, Netherlands and his companion is Elder Hirsch. They left us with joy and eagerness in their hearts.
Best regards,
President and Sister Bunnell
